Travel Experience
A couple of times we pulled over without really planning to. One stop had a small parking area and a few people already standing around looking out over the valley. It was probably one of the best viewpoints along the road, although we only stayed for ten minutes before getting back in the car.
There was a stretch where not much happened. We just kept driving and talking about where to stop for food because nobody had eaten since morning. I remember checking the clock more than the scenery for a while.
At one point the weather changed faster than I expected. The road ahead looked clear and then suddenly everything felt cooler and the visibility dropped a bit. We slowed down and followed another car for several kilometers.
I think what surprised me most about driving this route was how tired I felt by the end. Not because of the distance, just the constant attention the road seemed to require. We stopped at a roadside shop afterward and sat there longer than planned.
One memory that stuck with me was hearing the wind when we got out of the car near one of the higher sections. It was loud enough that conversations kept getting interrupted. We took a few photos, looked around for a few minutes, and moved on.
