Travel Experience
We started driving along the coast pretty casually, not really planning stops at first, but then kept noticing small parking spots with people already standing near the cliffs. So we just kept pulling over more than we expected.
At one beach we stayed longer because it was easier than getting back into the car right away. The sand was already warm and a bit stuck everywhere, and someone gave up trying to clean it off properly.
There was a long stretch where the road just followed the cliffs without much change. We didn’t talk much, just rolled the windows down and kept driving, occasionally pointing at rock shapes that looked familiar for no real reason.
We stopped in a small town for food and it felt slightly busier than the previous places, but still relaxed. Nothing special about the meal, just a break from the sun and driving.
By the end of the Algarve Coast Drive, it felt less like separate beaches and viewpoints and more like one long continuous coastline we’d been slowly passing. Just cliffs, sand, and short stops that blended together afterward.
