Travel Experience

We left fairly late in the morning and the first part didn’t feel very “scenic” yet, just normal roads between small towns and forest edges.

At one parking spot near a trailhead there were already a few cars and people sorting out backpacks. We didn’t plan to hike, just walked a short way in and turned back because we weren’t really equipped for anything longer.

There were stretches where the road dipped into forest valleys and then opened up briefly near rock formations. We didn’t really talk much, just slowed down occasionally when the cliffs suddenly appeared between trees.

We stopped for food in a small place that felt a bit scattered, like it wasn’t fully busy but also not empty. Nothing special happened there, just a quiet break before continuing.

By the end of the Bohemian Switzerland Drive, it felt like a series of short forest passages broken up by sudden rock views. Not really dramatic in a single moment, more like small surprises appearing and disappearing as the road kept moving.
