Travel Experience
We circled the lake once and then realized we’d already missed the main parking area, so we just went around again. It’s a short drive, but somehow we still managed to make it slightly messy.
At one point we pulled over just because everyone else was pulling over. There were a lot of people taking photos of the castle across the water. We stayed maybe ten minutes, mostly just standing there and not really saying anything.
The road itself wasn’t stressful at all. I remember thinking it’s more of a slow loop than an actual drive, and we were more focused on finding somewhere to sit for coffee than “driving this route” properly.
Later we argued a bit about whether we should do another loop or just park and walk the rest. In the end we didn’t really decide, we just found a spot and left the car there.
Nothing much happened after that, honestly. We just walked along the shore for a while and kept stopping for random views of the island. It felt more like hanging around than a proper scenic drive experience in Slovenia.
