Travel Experience

We left lowland heat behind pretty quickly and I remember the air in the car changing before we even really noticed the altitude. Windows fogged up a bit, which felt strange after how warm it had been earlier.

At one stop we didn’t even plan to get out, just saw a gap in the road where people were parked and followed them. It turned out to be a tea plantation view, but we didn’t stay long because it was surprisingly busy and kind of slippery underfoot.

There was a stretch where the road kept cutting through misty hills and small farms. We didn’t really comment much, just kept driving and occasionally slowed down for trucks going uphill.

We stopped for tea in a place that was clearly built for visitors but still felt calm enough to sit for a while. It wasn’t anything special in itself, just nice to be out of the car and not moving.

By the end of the Cameron Highlands Drive, I mostly remember the temperature shift and how everything looked slightly blurred by mist. The tea plantations were everywhere, but instead of standout moments it was more like one continuous green landscape passing by the window.
